The Sandbox, a crypto-powered game similar to Minecraft or Roblox, uses blockchain technology to give users the ownership of in-game assets through non-fungible tokens(NFT) other than the potential to trade virtual land on popular marketplaces like OpenSea.

The Sandbox is a game that allows players to create and play in a virtual world, just like the game Grand Theft Auto. The Sandbox game will be released on November 24, 2022.

Just like real-world real estate, users can buy plots of land to utilize them and host experiences or trade them at marketplaces.

LAND refers to real estate’s NFT valued virtual portion that constitutes the ‘The Sandbox games’ building blocks. 

On November 24, the sale will begin at 3 PM UTC with an inaugural wave, California Dreamin’, to display California-based brands like The Marathon and Playboy.

The sale has been planned for December 1 with the third sale, Voxel Madness, expected in early 2023.

Ysiu says-

The Sandbox makes it possible for non-tech-savvy users to create, sell, use, and monetize their virtual reality NFTs.

It is based on the Ethereum blockchain and is a decentralized NFT gaming in the metaverse.
