  • Cool Cats FC, a collection of NFTs created by Cool Cats, now includes Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF).
  • By incorporating this top decentralized oracle network, the team can employ a tamper-proof and auditable RNG to randomize the distribution of rewards.
  • To commemorate the World Cup, the Cool Cats community and football fans worldwide will gather.

Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) has been included in Cool Cats FC, an NFT collection developed by Cool Cats, Animoca Brands, and OneFootball, on the Polygon Mainnet. The team can use a tamper-proof and auditable RNG to randomize the distribution of rewards by integrating this leading decentralized oracle network.

Users can confirm that they have an equal chance of winning game-worn and autographed merchandise, once-in-a-lifetime IRL events, digital treasures, and much more thanks to this, which ultimately results in a more thrilling and transparent user experience.

The Cool Cats community and football enthusiasts from all around the world are coming together to celebrate the World Cup, the biggest sporting event in the world, with the Cool Cats FC NFT collection.

Each of the 3,000 dynamic NFTs in the Cool Cats FC collection represents one of the 32 participating teams. Holders can track the development of their team’s performance throughout the competition and see how their dNFT changes from the group stage through the round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals.

Holders can win a variety of exciting prizes as their teams progress. The lucky recipients of the grand prize will receive travel arrangements to Milan, where they will have the opportunity to meet one of the best football players in the world, experience a VIP football match at AC Milan, take a private tour of the San Siro Stadium, and meet the people who came up with the idea for Cool Cats FC.

All holders also have the chance to win signed and game-used jerseys, AC Milan, Juventus, and Napoli Serie A match tickets, and digital artifacts like Cool Cats NFTs, Cool Pets NFTs, and OneFootball Digital Video Moments (DVM) Packs.

To provide a random number and a cryptographic proof, Chainlink VRF combines block data—which is still unknown at the time of an initial request—with the pre-committed private key of the oracle node.

The input random number for the Cool Cats FC smart contract will only be accepted if it contains legitimate cryptographic proof, which can only be produced if the VRF procedure is tamper-proof.
