The entire collection personifies and symbolizes strong women and ‘Climate Warriors’. Moreover, about 15% of the proceeds from NFTs (including the sales from the initial drops and ongoing royalties) will be targeted towards seaweed cultivation in Iceland.

Talking about the launch, Katla CEO and Founder Aslaug Magnusdottir expresses her gratitude and is excited to explore the potential to use NFTs to raise funds for a positive environmental impact. The founding members are powerhouse individuals of diverse expertise and are motivated to fight and promote ocean regeneration, one of the critical drivers to fight climate change.

Katla collaborated with a startup IVY.cash, for the launch, and the collection can be bought on the Katla Website. The NFTs are minted on Polygon, an energy-efficient Blockchain.
