McFarlane Toys has announced its latest series of digital collectibles inspired by McFarlane ’s famous Spawn series.

According to McFarlane Toys’ tweet, the company has given high-quality and design-based collectibles for a number of major brands for 30 years. McFarlane Toys Digital is an initiative to take forward the legacy.

McFarlane Toys was originally launched in 1994 and creates action figures of characters that belong to popular music, movies, video games and comics. Talking about projects, they are Mortal Kombat, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Supernoobs, The Princess Bride and Warhammer.

The collection will mint on Polygon and will sell via Rarible.

According to a statement by McFarlane Toys, one owns their collectibles and saves them in their own digital wallet. They can purchase, sell and trade the collectibles on the McFarlane Toys Digital marketplace that’s powered by Rarible as well any other marketplace supported by Polygon.

The firm aims to match the detail and quality of the real pieces at the exactly same price.

The collectibles can be seen via a desktop computer viewing application that can be utilized to make as well as share the collections. Whenever a collector utilizes the application, they are rewarded experience points that can be redeemed to get exclusive collectibles, rewards and access to upcoming drops.

According to the company, whoever spends over $100 at McFarlane Toys’ official website in November through a certain promo code will be given a random limited edition Spawn launch collectible that will have Clown, Spawn or Redeemer.

It isn’t the first time in NFTs and digital collectibles for McFarlane. In 2021, the company collaborated with digital artist and musician Steve Aoki to release OddKey, a creator-oriented Solana NFT marketplace.

McFarlane shared that since they are not stressed about earning money, they are fearless in whatever experiment they do. They will attempt a couple of experimental, insane stuff.

Additionally, he said that they are keen to invite individuals with great ideas.
