Nik Storonsky of Revolut announces the integration of the chat function with NFT profile pics

In accordance with the recent revelation made by CEO Nik Storonsky, the new instant messaging feature of Revolut, which was just launched yesterday in the European Economic Area and the UK, will be incorporating NFT profile pictures. Nik Storonsky joined the Web Summit and spoke about the exciting journey of the fintech unicorn.

The launch of the new messaging tool marks the next step in the mission of Revolut to establish its grounds as a super app. Well, as for the details related to the tool, it allows users to chat and even share gifs and stickers. This can be done while the users are sending or requesting funds. 

It should be noted that the messaging function was constructed with end-to-end encryption and is integrated in the transfer segment of the Revolut app. However, it was revealed that the customers are required to have the 8.72 updates or even a later version for their Revolut app on Android or iOS in order to use it. 

Storonsky released a comment ahead of the launch of Revcoin, which, as per him, is slated for early next year. The native token will function in a similar way in order to airline Air Miles programs. In this program, customers earn rewards on the basis of how often they use the service.

In addition to this, it should be laid an emphasis the fact that the users will be rewarded with cashback in Revcoin. Moreover, they will be receiving higher interest rates on it. It was revealed that Revolut is in the development stages of a non-custodial DeFi wallet which is expected to operate as a standalone app.
