The song “Ric Flair Drip” produced by Bijan Amir has been streamed over a billion times on Spotify and has become renowned as a six-time Platinum track. The on-chain music royalty platform anotherblock onboarded the collaborative piece by Metro Boomin, 21 Savage, and Offset in the blockchain world.

Even though the NFT is now sold out, the NFT marketplace OpenSea can collect shares in the streaming royalties of “Ric Flair Drip.” Producer Amir shared,

This is my first foray into Web3 and crypto, I wanted to do something meaningful when I did. I saw other producers I respected and trusted working with anotherblock, and it felt right. I love the idea of fans getting a share of my rights, instead of me selling a share of my masters to some investor.

Moreover, anotherblock shared projection derived from unchained music suggests that “Ric Flair Drip” NFT holders might potentially experience an ROI of 7.9% to 8.8% in the first year.

Simultaneously, more users are adding the song to their playlists, driving it to become one of the top 250 most-streamed of all time on Spotify. Given the data, anotherblock’s Co-Founder and CEO, Michel D. Traore, expressed that “every drop is bigger and sells out faster.”

He continues to add that anotherblock’s secondary market for NFTs is currently thriving while tugging at the downward trend of many other projects. Hence, he confidently argues that “NFTs are providing real value to holders, and that owning a share of a track like ‘Ric Flair Drip’ means a great deal to fans.”
