The Sandbox is bringing a collection of 3,060 distinct Care Bears as playable metaverse avatars

In a recently shared tweet, the leading metaverse project, The Sandbox, made an announcement regarding the arrival of 3,060 distinct Care Bears that are making an entry into the Sandbox as playable metaverse avatars. The 3,060 unique avatars are playable inside the bright and colorful metaverse.

It has been revealed that each of the avatars has been hand-crafted with utmost care and is aimed at unlocking distinct characteristics and functionalities for its owners. In addition, the users will be able to earn SAND tokens, play games, and meet friends. 

As disclosed, the public sale of the Care Bear collection will begin on November 15, 2022. However, it should be laid emphasis on the news that Whitelisted users and Care Bears Forever holders will be gaining access to the sale 24 hours prior. 

The price of each Care Bear Avatar is set at 100 SAND, and the avatars are going to be revealed 48 hours after minting on OpenSea. It was revealed by The Sandbox that the Care Bears Avatars are going to reinvent the way users play in Web3. 

Care Bears utilizes a different model and are authentic and smaller as compared to a regular avatar and provides the opportunity to explore the Sandbox from a completely new angle and have a unique experience. There are a total of 5 rarity levels and 10 special designs. 

In addition to this, it should be noted that the users will be able to utilize their avatar in order to unlock a new functionality within the Care Bears experience and The Sandbox, involving access to new experiences and possibilities to earn SAND tokens.
