Sandbox has invited its Twitter followers to join the immersive metaverse party CRYPTOWEEN hosted by Paris Hilton.

Visitors may check out the Cryptoween metaverse activity made by Hilton’s firm 11:11 Media in collaboration with Urban Decay by going to “Paris World” in Roblox until November 1. The event, the first Roblox activation sponsored by a L’Oréal Group-owned brand, reflects the rising interest that leading cosmetics and apparel companies have in Roblox as a component of their metaverse marketing plans.

According to Eva Erdmann, president of Urban Decay, “Our Roblox relationship with Paris Hilton is aimed to interact with a completely new audience of beauty enthusiasts and to expose them to our key franchises. Hilton was the appropriate partner for the brand’s first-ever metaverse activity because she is “a lively, rebellious and free spirit, like the Urban Decay fan,” according to Erdmann.

Each of the three virtual rooms where Cryptoween will be devoted to a different Urban Decay product: the 24/7 Eyeliner, 24/7 Moondusts, and Vice Lip Bond. Visitors may select from ten ensembles based on Paris Hilton’s previous Halloween costumes, such as her “Tinkerbell,” “Bunny Princess,” and “Phoenix,” and then apply matching cosmetics from Urban Decay.

Users compete in a virtual runway competition by modelling their outfits for a chance to be listed on the scoreboard. Beginning at 2:00 PM PDT today, Hilton will appear every day in the virtual world at the selfie booth using her avatar.

The Cryptoween idea is part of broader ambitions for Hilton and 11:11 Media. On August 17, 11:11, Media registered “Cryptoween” and “Queen of the Metaverse” trademarks. According to Bruce Gersh, president, and chief operating officer of the firm, Cryptoween will become an annual event on many metaverse platforms.
