  • WoW Capacitors will now be able to transform in exchange for OnCyber virtual homes designed by Yam Karkai, CEO of WoW.
  • The transformation process will start on August 31, and the holders will be able to start transforming Capacitors by redeeming OnCyber virtual homes.
  • A blue Capacitor will provide the users with access to the Origin Residence, and the Green one will provide access to the Nebula Quarters.

In an announcement made on the official Twitter handle of World of Women, the users will now be able to transform Capacitors in exchange for OnCyber virtual homes. The transformation is set to take place on August 31, and the virtual homes can be customized to reflect their digital identity.

The CEO and Chief Creative Officer of World of Women, Yam Karkai, is the designer of the OnCyber virtual homes. This announcement was anticipated for over two months now as the World of Women NFT was preparing the community for the ‘Capacitors’ drop to kickstart the launch of the WoWverse.

As revealed in the official blog post, a Blue Capacitor will provide the users with access to the Origin Residence. At the same time, a Green Capacitor is responsible for providing access to the Nebula Quarters. In addition to this, it was revealed that the users who possess both capacitors would be obtaining a portal to link both places to each other.

Well, the blog post addressed that this particular initiative is intended to bring the WoW community together beyond PFPs, to create and explore the nature of digital identities. The COO of WoW, Shannon Snow, released a statement that said:

WoW has built a brand that allows people to represent themselves digitally, through PFPs.

Shannon further mentioned that as the first female-centric NFT brand that managed to break through to the mainstream, they couldn’t be more thrilled for the next iteration and expansion of the WoWverse.

Yam Karkai designed both the Origin Residence and the Nebula Quarters in association with a world-building engine for Web3, OnCyber.
