  • Own the Color’ auction is scheduled for June 20-24 exclusively via SuperRare.
  • Chevy will offer the one-of-one Z06 with the Z07 Performance Package and carbon-fiber wheels.
  • SuperRare, a cryptocurrency auction house, will host and accept bids in Ethereum.

The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 NFT is all for auction in the upcoming week. Xsullo, the artist of the NFT, created it for the ‘Own the Color’ auction. Apart from getting the NFT, the winner will also get a real one-of-one Corvette Z06.

XSULLO announced the NFT update, sharing the excitement through a tweet:

Proceeds from the auction will go to DonorsChoose. The organization aims to make it easy for anyone to help a teacher in need and enables students in every community to have the tools and experiences needed for quality education.

The NFT is an artwork featuring a green Corvette Z06 drifting through a blue and purple cityscape. The real-life Corvette Z06 has a ‘Minted Green’ exterior color like the one in the NFT. It will have a Z07 Performance Package as well as carbon-fiber wheels. Besides, the car has a VIN inspired by binary code and a commemorative plaque. Option code RFN is also included.

2023 Corvette Z06 was introduced in October 2021 and is the second among various Corvette variants from the Bow Tie. It will be put on sale this summer. It has a 5.5-liter flat-plane crankshaft V8 engine that can produce 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet torque.

The Z07 package adds extra performance goodies to the coupe, such as Michelin Sport Cup 2 R ZP tires, the FE7 suspension, and all the aerodynamic goodies offered in the carbon-fiber aero package. The car is also quick to 60 miles per hour, doing it in just 2.6 seconds.

SuperRare, a crypto art dealer, hosts and accepts bids in Ethereum. The Corvette Z06 NFT is a way for automakers to enter the evolving technology and valuable business prospects. The auction for the pair will kick off on June 20 and run through June 24.

Chevrolet Corvette production will begin soon, with the high-performance coupe on sale sometime this summer. However, the 2023 Corvette configurator doesn’t display the Z06 as an option.
