  • Google Cloud collaborates with Sky Mavis to improve blockchain network security.
  • Using interconnected and immersive experiences, they are advancing the vision for the gaming universe with interconnected, immersive, and rewarding experiences.
  • Google Cloud expects this collaboration with Sky Mavis to expedite its product roadmap and expand the Ronin network.

Google Cloud recently stated on Twitter that its collaboration with SkyMavisHQ will strengthen the security of its blockchain network and further its ambition of creating a games universe with interconnected, immersive, and rewarding experiences.

In addition to Animoca Brands, DappRadar, Nansen, and other validator nodes, Google Cloud will join the Ronin network as an independent enterprise validator. Google Cloud will support the Ronin network’s overall security and governance by managing and hosting a validator node and taking on the responsibility of validator uptime monitoring.

A crucial responsibility of validators is to guarantee that transactions on Ronin are handled correctly. They are also essential ecosystem partners and managers, according to Aleksander Larsen, co-founder, and CEO of Sky Mavis. One of the top options was unsurprisingly Google Cloud, which combines being a well-known supporter of the developer community with extensive technical know-how in running validators and building out blockchain infrastructure.

Ruma Balasubramanian, Managing Director of Google Cloud for Southeast Asia, believes that Sky Mavis is a great illustration of how blockchain technologies can be made possible by the cloud, resulting in innovation and value creation for users.

They expect this collaboration with Sky Mavis to expedite its product roadmap and expand the Ronin network with secure infrastructure at its core, alongside Search as their implementation partner. They’re also intrigued about the potential outcomes of this most recent partnership, whether they involve engaging user experiences or innovative distribution strategies for video games, she continued.
