- A group of works by well-known contemporary artist Kaws are being displayed for the first time using blockchain authentication.
- Together with the Hong Kong-based creative agency AllRightsReserved, the artworks were produced (ARR).
- The pieces pay homage to the artists’ prior international shows, including the pioneering, enormous outdoor COMPANION sculpture.
Kaws, a well-known modern artist, is exhibiting a collection of pieces that have been blockchain-authenticated for the first time.
The artworks were created in conjunction with the Hong Kong-based creative firm AllRightsReserved (ARR) and include 12 bronze sculpture versions to commemorate the studio’s 20th anniversary and the artist’s 12-year collaborations.
Presenting the first implementation of a “tap-to-own” technology with #KAWS. A chip is included with each artwork that ties the physical artwork to a digital token.

ARR has released “KAWS BRONZE Copies,” a collection of 12 sculptures, each with an edition of 250, plus 50 artist-proof editions, to commemorate their more than ten years of working together.

The works pay tribute to the artists’ earlier worldwide exhibitions, such as the first-ever, gigantic outdoor COMPANION sculpture, which ARR showed in Hong Kong in 2010. Other artworks are drawn from a range of KAWS: HOLIDAY exhibitions that have taken place in places including Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Mount Fuji, and more.
While moving through, Among the images are the words “clean slate,” “BFF,” “seeing,” “watching,” “alone time,” “quiet moment,” “here today,” “space,” “at this time,” “good morning,” and “shelter.”
Each is varied in stature, with SEEING standing at 175 mm, or nearly 7 inches, the tallest. Sketches are accessible there until December 19 for the price of $21,980 ($2,826) for each piece.

ARR announced that it would be releasing several unique collaborations in celebration of its 20th anniversary and that other collections may be anticipated from “long-time friends as well as new colleagues” for those who missed out on the KAWS Bronze Editions.
