Grease Monkey Games, an Animoca Brands company with offices in Australia and across many platforms, has obtained the exclusive rights to distribute Liberty Walk’s licensed NFT/s for Torque Drift 2. Grease Monkey will continue working with Liberty Walk to develop realistic utility-based NFTs for its game after the 2-year exclusive time.

Grease Monkeys Games announced the new on Twitter tagging GMG Studios with a link to the published blog on the website.

The skill-based motorsport game offers a virtual experience as diverse and dynamic as the sport of drifting itself. It is the latest instalment of Grease Monkey Games’ Torque franchise. The game will support single-player and multiplayer play in both linear and open-world environments.

Players can customize their cars with Liberty Walk comprehensive body kits and the exclusive LB-super Sillhoutte S15SILIVA, one-of-a-kind models. 

Players will get their first look at two critical areas of Torque Drift 2 in the early access demo coming later this year: the Garage and Photobooth. The NFTs allow players to customize their cars and showcase them in several unique settings.​

The whole game’s launch is anticipated for 2025, with the introduction of more features and places, including crew creation, paint booth, dyno tuning, multiplayer lobbies, tournament export development, and more to come in the coming years. 

In 2013, Animoca Brands created Grease Monkey Games as a division and since then, Grease Monkey Games has created and released original IP games. Over 45 million downloads of Torque Burnout and Torque Drift were recorded in just a few months, and the team is working on Torque Drift 2.
