Animoca Brands, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Polygon Labs, has unveiled the MoonRealm Express Accelerator, a novel initiative poised to propel the growth of Web3 startups. This groundbreaking program harnesses the strengths of these tech giants to foster innovation and development in the burgeoning field of Web3.
MoonRealm Express Accelerator emerges as a beacon for Web3 builders globally, offering a unique platform to refine and advance their ideas. The program’s cornerstone lies in nurturing the entire lifecycle of a Web3 startup. It ranges from sparking initial concepts to providing comprehensive support, including Web3 masterclasses, hackathons tailored for builders, and nurturing high-caliber projects.

This initiative will initially concentrate on enhancing Mocaverse’s burgeoning ecosystem, particularly focusing on the recent launch of Moca ID and Realm Points on the Polygon chain. The first of the program’s hackathons, scheduled for early 2024, will challenge participants to develop protocols that leverage the Moca ID on-chain identity ecosystem and incorporate Realm Points as key assets.
The hackathon will focus on three main areas: Web3 Identity, Web3 Social, and Web3 Growth. These tracks aim to position Mocaverse as a leading platform for Web3-based loyalty programs. This ambitious goal is backed by the synergistic integration of Animoca Brands’ expertise, AWS’s robust technological infrastructure, and Polygon Labs’ extensive network. This collaboration spans across various domains like Web3, cloud computing, AI, and blockchain technologies.
Yat Siu, Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Animoca Brands, emphasizes the mission of Mocaverse in connecting and expanding the Animoca Brands network. He notes the program’s potential in fostering a significant Web3 ecosystem centered around culture and entertainment. AWS steps in as a key technological ally, committing US$1.1M to support up to 500 startups in the inaugural cohort. This support includes AWS cloud resources, technical masterclasses, exposure to venture capital, and comprehensive market support.
