  • BitPay successfully integrates with PolyGon and MATIC.
  • Panini America to lend its support to its customers via Polygon wallet.
  • BitPay merchants will accept Polygon payments from Polygon wallets.

BitPay just made an announcement about their new support for Polygon and MATIC. BitPay merchants will be able to accept Polygon payments from Polygon wallets thereon.

Yesterday, a press release brought to our notice that the digital asset payment services provider made a confirmation about its integration with Polygon. NFT marketplaces like Panini America will also lend their support to their customers with the new payment option as merchants.

Panini America, a leading publisher of children’s books, comics and magazines, is a brand leader of sticker and trading card collectibles, featuring above 1,000 collections each year.

Under this successful integration, users will get access to a massive volume of NBA, NHL, NFL, and NFTs via Panini.

The VP of marketing at Panini America, Jason Howarth stated that they are quite excited to support coins within the Panini Wallet, especially to do with the NFT market. “The opportunity to partner closely with BitPay, continue to develop the Panini NFT platform, and continue to give our collectors greater payment flexibility and options during this NFT market cycle is a key reason we’ve chosen to work so closely with BitPay,” Jason Howarth added.

Panini America is one of the few marketplaces that have announced plans to offer FIFA World Cup-themed NFTs. The tournament will feature 64 matches, and it will be streamed live from Qatar starting November 20.

They believe the new Polygon payment services support BitPay to boost the sales of tokenized cards and stickers during the FIFA World Cup 2022 season.
