In a recent tweet thread released by Animoca Brands on Twitter, they shared a recap of what they ‘buidl’ with their associate Blowfish Studios in 2022. They revealed that their associate, Blowfish Studios, facilitated the development and publishing of Phantom Galaxies.

The game is an open-world mech combat game that is currently in the public alpha release stage. The game is among the first game titles based on blockchain with AAA scope and quality.
In addition to this, Animoca Brands revealed that Phantom Galaxies Origin Collection NFT holders will now have access to the complete Alpha game content comprising four episodes. For all the players who are looking forward to starting their space journey on Phantom Galaxies, they will be allowed to purchase the NFT on OpenSea.
Since the launch of the game, the players have been gathering their posters and medal NFTs, as owning all four Posters or Episode Medal NFTs will provide them access to distinct Avatars and Starfighters. These are loaded with rare traits and sole Phantom Galaxies advantages.
What adds more to the value of these distinct Avatars and Starfighter NFTs is the fact that they give owners a distinct buff, super move theme, weapon, and added advantages in Phantom Galaxies.
In the tweet thread, Animoca Brands revealed that the private planet NFT sale of The Phantom Galaxies in mid-2022 was pretty successful and heavily oversubscribed. The sale did manage to raise US$19.3 million.
Back in the month of July, Phantom Galaxies facilitated the launch of their governance and utility token, named ASTRAFER, on Quickswap DEX. It was paired with ETH and USDC. It should be noted that the first P&E event of Phantom Galaxies, AstrafiteRush, is currently in the stages of development.
In the game, players fight against pirates and mine deadly ore in a quest to earn ASTRAFER. As revealed, the community engagement has been fantastic, with over 2,000 players hurtling through community goals for bonus rewards.
