Kanye West is coming up with his personal social media platform, Parler, the right-leaning social media channel.

West is not new to crypto and Bitcoin and applauded the technology on The Joe Rogan Experience in October 2020. At the time, he said:
The bitcoin guys have a perspective on what the true liberation of America and humanity will be.
Recently, a photo went viral that had him wearing a “Satoshi Nakamoto” hat.

The decision to buy Parler has been made after the rapper’s Instagram and Twitter accounts were suspended earlier this month on the grounds of “antisemitic comments,” something he needs not to worry about with his own platform.
Parler has disclosed that the agreement will probably close in the fourth quarter of this year and will have existing technical support from Parlement Technologies, the parent company of Parler.
The platform was launched in September 2018 and claims to be a free-speech alternative to Twitter. However, it was kicked out from Apple App and Google Play stores after the capital riot that happened on January 6. Moreover, it was removed from AWS or Amazon Web Services owing to lack of policing of violent and questionable content.
On February 15, 2021, Parker began its services once again with incorporation of content filters. This was followed by it coming back on Apple App Store and Google Play on May 17, 2021 and September 2, 2022, respectively. In the same month, Parler raised $16 million in Series B funding.
Parler launched DeepRedSky, its NFT marketplace in March. During the initial launch, CryptoTRUMP Club, a line of digital art with Trump’s image, was featured. Collections that came later had the POTUS TRUMP NFT collection, Babylon Bee and Brandon Tatum and were led by Melania Trump.
George Farmer, Parlement Technologies CEO, said that this deal will transform the world as well as change everyone’s thinking about free speech. West is moving into the free speech media ecosystem and won’t have to worry about being kicked out from social media once again.
Additionally, he said that West has proved being ahead of the legacy media narrative. It would be an honor for Parlement to help him in meeting his goals.
Back in June, Today NFT News reported, Kanye West filed 17 trademark applications for NFT & metaverse.
