In a recent announcement made on the official Twitter handle of MetaMask, it was revealed that they are joining forces with Onramp.money to empower MetaMask users in India. As revealed, Onramp.money is set to seamlessly integrate within the MetaMask wallet, allowing all Indian MetaMask users in order to purchase cryptocurrency directly using their API.
This move will allow Indian users to easily make transactions using their bank in order to gain instant crypto access. Following this integration, it should be noted that Indian MetaMask users will be able to buy crypto directly within the MetaMask mobile application with the help of Onramp.money’s API.
The API extends support to various local payment methods, such as UPI and IMPS, for a more seamless experience, making it more affordable, faster, and even more efficient. Well, it goes without saying that this move is yet another step toward the adoption of blockchain technology in India.
Gaurav Dahake, the CEO of Onramp.money, released a statement that affirmed that the partnership would make it easier for Indian users to gain access to and use decentralized apps.
Lorenzo Santos, the Product Manager at MetaMask, shared his thoughts on the same and said that the partnership is aimed at bringing instant transaction services to MetaMask users in India. In addition to this, he affirmed that this will assist in driving the adoption of blockchain technology in India.
