Keeping up with the competition
MoonPay’s NFT Checkout service, which launched on January 27, was billed as the “industry-first NFT plug-and-play solution that allows customers to quickly purchase an NFT with a credit or debit card.”
“By making NFTs available to anybody who can pay with a credit card, we’re not only dramatically increasing NFT usage; we’re also opening up new income streams for companies, new royalty sources for artists, and delivering the advantages of NFTs to a much broader brand ecosystem.”

Through MoonPay’s NFT Checkout, OpenSea consumers will be able to purchase NFTs with a card for the first time.
Major payment options such as MasterCard, Visa, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are available to collectors.
Ivan Soto-Wright, MoonPay’s co-founder and CEO, stated, “MoonPay’s objective is to release ownership and onboard the globe to Web3.” “In order to be effective, we must simplify the procedure as much as feasible.” MoonPay has done the same for cryptocurrencies. We’re currently implementing it for NFTs as well, in collaboration with Opensea.”
MoonPay seeks to make NFTs more widely available. Our collaboration with OpenSea is a significant step in the right direction.
