Popular Taiwanese PC game brand, Softstar Entertainment, partners with The Sandbox metaverse platform. The firm envisions buying virtual land on the metaverse and building its Softstart MetaPark. The virtual ecosystem will offer players the unique experience of fantasy, traditional and futuristic heroic stories.
The Sandbox said in its Twitter post,
@SoftstarEntmt, the Taiwanese game developer, joins The Sandbox to bring wuxia and eastern fantasy into the #metaverse!
From eastern fantasy about legendary wuxia (martial heroes) to the completion of missions in this modern day, Softstar MetaPark will offer a highly immersive experience to its players.
Renowned characters from the Softstar catalog like Li Xiaoyao, Zhao Ling’er, and Lin Yueru from The Legend of Sword and Fairy series, and Sun Xiaomei, Jin Beibei, and Atubo from the Richman series will be featured in the Softstart MetaPark. These characters will accompany the fans on their adventures in the virtual space.

Softstar has also partnered with Lululand, a metaverse studio, and TW The Sandbox Creator Club (TWCC) to host its first Web 3.0 exhibition. The virtual exhibition – “A love is Forever” will showcase all classic Softstart characters and their memorable stories. It is seen as a trailer or preview of Softstar MetaPark on The Sandbox.
