  • Createra announces raising $10 million in Series A funding.
  • The project is aimed at facilitating the construction of the largest Gen-Z-focused metaverse platform.
  • The funding round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and is targeted at enabling creators to create, distribute, and MetaFi games.

A user-generated content (UGC) metaverse engine, Createra, has recently made an announcement regarding securing $10 million in Series A funding spearheaded by Andreessen Horowitz. This came as a pursuit to continue building the largest metaverse platform focused on Gen-Z.

Connie Chan, the a16z General Partner, released a statement regarding the same that addressed the fact that the powerful cloud-based web engine of Createra is responsible for making it incredibly easy to facilitate the development of multiplayer games equipped with Web3 features

Createra is a platform that is well-known for offering users exclusive crypto-native autonomous worlds with features involving instant accessibility and cross-play. These are some advantages that make sure both creators and users are backed by the tools that are required in order to facilitate the adoption of the new trends in the industry.

Moreover, it paves the way for optimal gaming experiences in the metaverse. It should be noted that everything built on the Createra platform is tradeable, including APIs, games, models, and much more.

If the user has Land in the Createra metaverse, it clearly means that the user has the stamp of a creator. Furthermore, it implies that the players are integrated into the metaverse creation system of Createra and distribute their metaverse NFT assets on the market

What adds more to the value of the platform is the fact that any creation on it is capable of being monetized, which blurs the line between creators and consumers while creating a space where anything is possible.

So far, Createra has managed to amass a community that is backed by around 15 million Gen Z users on the Asian continent. The platform allows the players to team up in order to give birth to new digital experiences that utilize the programmability of digital assets along with the advantages of crypto.
