Upland and FIFA launch the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 experience in the Upland Metaverse

In a recent announcement, it has been revealed that Upland and FIFA have entered a multi-year partnership that will allow the Upland community and football fans all over the world to amass, trade, and own game video highlights and digital assets. Upland and FIFA have embarked on a joint mission in order to assist fans in getting a better understanding of how the metaverse and Web3 function. 

With this experience, fans will understand how to participate and contribute to the virtual environment driven by the community. It should be noted that all the activities during and between tournaments in Upland will extend support to the education efforts and the opportunities for fans to back their favorite national team. 

Upland will be collaborating with FIFA in order to create joyful and gamified experiences in the largest open metaverse aligned to the real world, with over 3 million accounts. Upland has also introduced a collection game for football fans, with a restricted number of mystery bundles at multiple rarities. It should be noted that they involve country-specific team crests, shirts, boots, and historic Official World Cup logos, mascots, and posters so that the fans are able to complete digital collection albums across 32 country teams represented.
