Recently, during the Goa Festival, A.R Rehman and Shekhar Kapur discussed Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence Collaboration at Goa Festival. During the talk, it was concluded that Machine Learning and AI in itself can never replace creativity and technology would always be as a service towards mankind.
The Panel was led by Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, and participants included the famous singer and music composer A.R. Rehman, Ronald Menzel, the co-founder and chief strategy at Dreamscape Immersive, and the tech maven Pranav Mistry. The discussion was conducted via virtual link.
In the discussion, the panellists expressed their opinions on the concept of the Metaverse, which is still nascent. Menzel expressed his point of view that creativity is not parallel to AI or VR, it is unique to mankind. Following that, A.R. Rahman expressed his point of view on the negative side effects of technology by explaining that technology has made us forget about the foundations of reality and that as creators one must stand up to the world and remind them.
Shekhar Kapur also expressed his opinions on the topic and quoted the metaverse as a beautiful composition of technology.
