Yuga Labs’ TwelveFold collection auction to end today, March 6

SNEAK PEEK

  • Yuga Labs TwelveFold, a collection of 300 Bitcoin NFTs, auction to end today a bit before 3PM PT.
  • Advanced 3D modeling technology has been used to create rare digital assets.
  • TwelveFold will be minted via Ordinals on the Bitcoin network.

On Sunday, March 5, 2023, Yuga Labs created a buzz when it shared plans about its TwelveFold auction, its Bitcoin NFT collection. The plan includes the sale of over 300 digital art pieces alongside sharing a sneak peek of the crypto-powered artwork’s future. The auction began on March 5 at 3 p.m. PT and will conclude today, i.e., March 6, 2023, at 3 p.m. PT. The auction claims to be an enthralling event as bidders will get to compete and acquire the unique NFTs.

300 rare digital assets, or NFTs, have been made by Yuga Labs upon deploying 3D modeling technology as well as other advanced mechanisms. Out of these, 288 NFTs are meant for sale, while the remaining 12 NFTs are meant for donations, contributors, and charitable efforts.

Interested buyers could purchase one of the 288 available NFTs, and each one of them has its own exclusive features and traits. Users were asked to create two Bitcoin wallet addresses to participate. One of the wallet addresses will be used to send the Bitcoin to the auction, and the other will be required to receive the NFT post the event.

Increasing the bid is possible; however, it can’t be decreased or withdrawn. A summary of the auction bids will be displayed on a leaderboard to allow bidders to keep a check on their position. The first bid will be considered in case two bids are the same.

Winners will get their TwelveFold ordinal inscriptions within one week of the end of the auction.

Garga, Yuga Labs’s co-founder, previously said that TwelveFold is a base 12 art system confined around a 12×12 grid. He added that the collection has extremely rendered 3D elements and hand-drawn features to serve as a tribute to ordinal inscriptions, which are currently done by hand.
