The co-founder of Ethereum and one of the most well-known cryptocurrencies, Vilatik Buterin, has accepted the invitation and agreed to visit Pakistan in the future.
Bilal Bin Saqib, who is planning an Ethereum conference that will take place in the future, invited Vilatik Buterin to come to Pakistan for the event.
Bilal, the only speaker from Pakistan at this year’s two largest NFT conferences, ETH Barcelona and NFT NYC, said that he also attended the Ethereum Community Conference last week, where he met Buterin.
Bilal also said Buterin benevolently accepted his invitation and said that he is keen to visit Pakistan in the future for the conference.
The Web3 domain is a recent development in Pakistan, which gives the country’s youth access to education and opportunity.
In 2020 and 2017, on the Forbes 30 under 30 lists, both Bilal and Vitalik were mentioned. The former is renowned for his efforts to make access to water easier through his social enterprise, which was the first to raise money through NFTs for Pakistani regions with a lack of access to clean water.
At the Ethereum Community Conference or EthCC, their paths crossed. Before entering the Web3 industry, Bilal had established a reputation for himself both domestically and overseas.
Additionally, the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, recently presented Bilal with the Points of Light Award for One Million Meals, a project he co-founded.
His contributions to the community in the UK were also acknowledged in the Pakistani Foreign Minister’s Honours List in April 2021.
Ethereum was co-founded by Buterin. After the Bitcoin Network, Ethereum is one of the most well-known and constantly emerging blockchains, with a market valuation of 187.739B.
Since its launch in 2015, ether has surged in price from $0.311 to a peak of almost $4,800 this year. Since the summer of 2014, investors have seen an annual return on investment (ROI) of about 300 percent, nearly quadrupling their initial investment.
Buterin believes that Ethereum will play a significant role in the much-hyped Metaverse. He predicts that Ethereum will “rule the Metaverse in ten years.”
