The virtual concert was a part of the in-game event on the PUBG platform. The 8-minute in-game event featured BLACKPINK’s recently released “Ready For Love” special tune as well as the K-pop group’s virtual performances of their hit songs.

BLACKPINK partnered with PUBG MOBILE to release its special track, “Ready For Love” music video. It has been watched 146 million times since its launch and stays at the top of the chart.

The music video shows BLACKPINK members as avatars who are teleported to different locations in the PUBG MOBILE universe. BLACKPINK’s metaverse success story isn’t the only one in the virtual world. Their fellow K-pop boy band, BTS’s virtual event on Fortnite drew in 46 million people on the platform.
