Bored Ape Yacht Club noted cheating in Dookey Dash game

  • The Bored Ape Yacht Club is asking people to play fair to earn scores in the Dookey Dash game.
  • The scores will be analyzed in order to catch scammers.
  • The final leaderboard will be revealed on February 10, 2023.

Bored Ape Yacht Club tweeted about being fair in the Dookey Dash game. Dookey Dash needs its participants to play without cheating. They have been noticing that some sewer passes are associated with cheating. Those results have been deleted from the leaderboard.

Anyone who has had a score taken from the board can still register a valid score until the scoreboard is shut down tomorrow at 3 p.m. PST. They will also be verifying sewer passes after the scoreboard has been closed, and anyone detected cheating after that will be unable to repeat Dookey Dash to register a new rank.

If someone has delegated passes, do thorough research. Make certain that the individual with whom they are collaborating is playing fairly. If anybody has any worries about how that individual may have used their delegated access, obtain the pass back and enter a fresh result before the scoreboard freezes.

The ultimate scoreboard rankings and the key champion will be disclosed on February 10, following the last set of audits, announced via tweet. Sewer passes will also get a metadata upgrade, revealing their ultimate ranking and value.

Dookey Dash records are continuously checked and verified to verify that all runs are valid. Scores detected as unusual during the audit risk being destroyed; sewer passes linked with them will not appear on the final ranking.
