FanCraze intends to release NFT player cards for four Indian Premier League teams

FanCraze Technologies Inc, a web3.0 firm located in the United States, is planning to provide metaverse player cards for four Indian Premier League teams: Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals, and Lucknow Super Giants.

The firm released items such as ‘ICC Crictos’ video moments and ‘FanCraze Flash’ (own-to-play gaming experience) in cricket. It was stated that holding these cards would allow fans to interact with their favorite IPL teams, as well as develop a collection and exchange cards, among other things.

The company FanCraze will add Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants to its roster of partners, which already includes IPL teams Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals, the International Cricket Council, the Asian Cricket Council, Cricket West Indies, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and 30 other cricket players.

Bhambri, Sundar Raman, the IPL’s initial chief operational officer, and Kushagra Kohli founded the business in 2001. FanCraze competes with Rario, a cricket NFT platform launched in 2021 by IIT Alumni Ankit Wadhwa and Sunny Bhanot, and which has collaborations with Cricket Australia, Hero Caribbean Premier League, Lanka Premier League, Abu Dhabi T10 League, and Legends League Cricket, among others.
