Crypto payments platform, MoonPay on September 15th, 2022 has introduced a new feature for its users. Making the crypto trade and transactions accessible and simpler for common people, MoonPay has launched its new Google sign-in feature.

MoonPay posted on Twitter,

Skip tedious steps when setting up your account by signing in directly using a Gmail address.

The feature allows MoonPay users to sign-in on the platform using their Gmail address. Now, users can easily buy cryptocurrencies using their Gmail address on MoonPay.

They are no longer required to go through the lengthy sign-up process to create an account on MoonPay. Like social media platforms, users can directly use their Gmail address to sign-up and use the crypto services on the platform.

Moreover, with Google sign-up process, new users will not have to verify their email address or fill in KYC fields. The KYC process will be pre-filled using the data received from the customer’s Google account. It is the first time that MoonPay is using automatic data input system for the convenience of its users.

In its blog post, MoonPay said,

Anyone with a Google account, which currently makes up more than three-quarters of MoonPay’s user base, can now experience faster sign-up and sign-in times.
