  • Shiva Rajamaran of OpenSea says that they are running the risk of missing out on the more interesting developments in the space if they keep their heads down too long.
  • This came following the OpenSea platform’s potential to make its presence known to the Web3 attendees in downtown Miami.
  • Rajamaran’s statement addresses the significant role of the media landscape around the synthesis.

In a recent statement released by Shiva Rajamaran, the Vice President of Product at OpenSea, it was revealed that they are risking missing out on the more interesting developments in the space if they keep their heads down too long.

OpenSea is undoubtedly heading the creator culture as it is the largest secondary NFT marketplace, valued at a whopping $13.3 billion USD at the beginning of 2022. The platform did manage to make its presence known to all the Web3 attendees in downtown Miami.

In accordance with the statement released by Shiva Rajamaran, there is certainly no denying that this is a highly volatile space, and here, things keep changing all the time.

The major focus is to be laid on the gaming or core PFPs, and membership. As per him, the fact that they are letting their heads stay down in the sand is just implying that they are missing out on the more interesting things.

This is the age of misinformation, and it is a significant contributor to the difficulties in capturing the organic trends that actually carry the potential to lay an impact on OpenSea and other similar platforms.

Talking from a news and media perspective, Rajamaran says that the media landscape has a vital role to play around synthesis.

In addition to this, he shared that it is required for OpenSea to look closely over the issues that are faced by the customers on the platform and deal with their complaints.

As they are not aware of which projects are going to rise in the future, it is becoming even harder to get their hands on a holistic point of view.
