The association of the sports world with NFTs is getting stronger day by day. It is no surprise that another renowned name in the sports sector is signing a deal to launch its digital collectibles.

Reports in the sports world hint towards a potential deal between The Premier League, one of the largest soccer organizations, and Sorare a fantasy sports NFT gaming platform.

The aforesaid organization may be signing a multi-year deal of $34.7 million per year with the latter.

Premier League has also contacted ConsenSys and Dapper Labs for its NFT collectibles project. But no official agreement has been signed with any of the two companies.

ConsenSys has tried to renegotiate and proposed a lower price contract observing the dip in the NFT sales this year. While it is assumed that Sorare has offered a quite lucrative deal to the Premier League.

Sorare is rapidly progressing in the NFT market and making headlines by collaborating with big names like NBA. Recently Sorare announced the launch of a beta version of the NFT-based NBA basketball game on its platform. They also released the first look of the NBACards on Twitter which can be used on the gaming platform.
