There was a 3D interactive experience zone at the Reliance Industries annual general meeting (AGM), which was held on August 29. Their resources primer for the Reliance Industries Limited 45th AGM on Monday includes an immersive 3D interactive experience zone in the Metaverse, stated Rohit Bansal, a group-level leader at RIL, in a LinkedIn post.

With the official JioMeet broadcast and live streams on five top social media platforms, they hope to be among the first worldwide majors to adopt a VR platform. JioMeet, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Koo are some of the platforms mentioned.

At 2:00 PM on Monday, the Reliance Industries AGM was scheduled. The 5G rollout was the main topic. By Diwali, according to Ambani, 5G would be launched. Recently, Reliance shelled out Rs 88,000 crore to purchase a portion of the 5G spectrum.

The announcement that Mukesh Ambani will hand over control of the massive collection of corporations to his children is among the most eagerly awaited information from the AGM. The position of Chairman of Reliance Jio has already been elevated to Akash Ambani. Most experts predict that Isha Ambani will take over the retail industry.

Although the immersive experience may be enjoyed on standard mobile or desktop screens, Bansal stated in his post that 3D VR eyewear could enhance the experience.

Reliance Jio made an announcement about its entry into metaverse technologies in February when it invested in the US-based deep tech start-up Two Platforms, where it bought a 25% share for $15 million.
