Animoca Brands, a leader in digital property rights in gaming and the metaverse, recently announced a strategic partnership with Ubisoft’s Strategic Innovation Lab. This collaboration aims to enhance Ubisoft’s Web3 initiatives through Mocaverse, Animoca Brands’ flagship membership project. Mocaverse is set to support and elevate Ubisoft’s Web3 ventures, including the innovative PvP Tactical RPG Champions Tactics™ Grimoria Chronicles.

This innovative game invites players into the mystical world of Grimoria, where mythical champions engage in intense tactical battles. Mocaverse will integrate Champions Tactics™ Grimoria Chronicles into its Web3 Frequent Player Program, marking a significant step in this collaboration. This integration is pivotal to Mocaverse’s broader strategy to build an interoperable meta-experience layer across its extensive network of over 400 portfolio companies.

These points can be redeemed for exclusive access to various digital and real-life benefits and rewards from Mocaverse, Animoca Brands, and their partner networks.

Yat Siu, the co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. He emphasized Animoca Brands’ commitment to bringing users into the Web3 space through gaming, culture, and entertainment. Nicolas Pouard, VP of the Strategic Innovation Lab at Ubisoft, also shared his excitement. He noted Ubisoft’s long-standing interest in Animoca Brands and expressed pleasure in supporting their consumer-facing initiatives by participating in the Mocaverse program from its inception.

This partnership represents a significant development in the gaming and digital property rights landscape. It underscores the growing importance of Web3 technologies in the gaming industry and highlights the potential for innovative collaborations between established gaming giants and pioneering companies in the digital space. As these two entities come together, they set a new standard for how gaming, culture, and entertainment intersect in the rapidly evolving digital world.
