DBS has collaborated with “The Sandbox” to grow its banking experience in the virtual world. The partnership focuses on establishing a metaverse platform to offer users an experience of an improved and sustainable world.
DBS aims to take a 3×3 plot of LAND in the game and develop the virtual property using immersive features.
Piyush Gupta, DBS CEO, said:
Metaverse technology, while still evolving, could also fundamentally change the way banks interact with customers and communities.
He also shared that digital advancements have led to introducing the biggest changes in the gaming industry.
DBS will also integrate DBS BetterWorld with LiveBetter, which is a digital platform launched by the bank in 2021.
The bank aims for “The Sandbox” DBS BetterWorld to serve as an extra interactive platform for customer experience. It is also looking forward to advancing its major services via providing a platform for visitors and allowing them to know more about the firm in the metaverse.
