Despite some NFT projects failing, CryptoPunks have always ruled the marketplace. Known as one of the initial NFT collections on the Ethereum blockchain, they are considered a smart investment as well as a status symbol.
The latest update from the CryptoPunks world is the purchase of Punk 9472 for 69 ETH.

Although CryptoPunks are just a few years old, they have established a legacy. Maintaining their strong presence, they will continue to fetch popularity on the Ethereum blockchain even in 2022. On that note, it will be exciting to see whether Punk 9472 sets a new record of being the most expensive CryptoPunk or not.
