Autographs. Not one of these is a baseball card. It’s a SimpDAO!

Trump penned:

Would be a wonderful Christmas present. Stop waiting. I anticipate they’ll be gone fairly shortly.

Following the official announcement of his 2024 presidential campaign, Trump made the announcement. Trump, who was president of the United States from 2017 to 2021, lost his attempt for reelection in 2020 and made up evidence that the election had been rigged.

The former US president would struggle to secure the Republican Party’s presidential candidacy in light of recent polls and his party’s poor performance in the 2022 midterm elections.

The weird NFT collectible project by former president and crypto-phobe Donald Trump has the public baffled. Conservatives and even ardent MAGA fans are baffled, and analyst Eric Wall compared the endeavor to a “SimpDAO.”

The term “SimpDAO” was coined in January, after social media sensation Irene Zhao debuted IreneDAO.The NFT project gives “simps,” or admirers, a place to connect over their love of Irene while also receiving perks like free tokens, meet & greets, phone calls, etc. It has generated secondary NFT sales of $3.3 million just on OpenSea to date.

Going where? was the response from Twitter’s founder and Bitcoin advocate Jack Dorsey. “The past President of the United States issued NFTs,” said a tweet. He didn’t like it before crypto, either.

Approximately 35,600 Trump Digital Trading Cards were offered for secondary sale on OpenSea at the press timing, with a price cap of 0.065 ether (ETH) tickers $1,212 lower or $82.
