  • Vespa Scooters’ owner filed a NFT and metaverse-based application recently.
  • Virtual scooters, scooter parts and electric scooters are covered in the plan.
  • 2022 was a year of NFT and metaverse trademarks for major industries.

Last year’s trademark applications came to an end with the owner of VESPA scooters filing a trademark application on December 30.

Trademark attorney Mike Kondoudis took to Twitter to share the update.

The trademark has been filed to offer:

  • NFT trading and blockchain software
  • Virtual scooters, vehicles, footwear and clothing
  • Digital media authenticated by non-fungible tokens

Based on the details of the application, the company will offer downloadable virtual goods like computer programs with two-wheeled, three-wheeled as well as four-wheeled vehicles. Electric push scooters, electrically powered scooters, lights and bodies for vehicles for use in online and online virtual worlds will be offered.

Other offerings include downloadable digital media like digital goods authenticated by NFTs in the form of digital coins, crypto tokens, tokens of value in the form of coupons & gift vouchers for use in online virtual worlds. Furthermore, digital items and computer games authenticated by NFTs are also included in the plan.

Downloadable virtual goods like computer-based programs associated with motor vehicles, motors & engines for land vehicles, etc. will be offered as well. Vespa NFTs are already available and this move will take things further into technology and innovation.
