The Dubai Police recently made an announcement about the launch of their luxury smart patrols called ‘Ghiath’. It was one-of-a-kind even in the history of digital UAE.

The GhiathNFT features a 360-degree camera, an advanced-level license plate and facial recognition system, and eight exterior surveillance cameras.

Furthermore, the Dubai Police also released their second collection of NFTs. Around 150 civilians became proud owners of this first one-of-a-kind digital asset collection which symbolizes ‘values of innovation, security and communication’. 

On Monday, the Police force even announced the second collection during Gitex Global.

The director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence, Major-General Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, stated that the force is the first police organization in the world to create its own digital asset. He further stated that this UAE police force is also the first government entity in UAE.

NFT is a unit of data stored on a type of digital ledger called a blockchain, and every NFT is a unique copy in itself, containing complete information about the date of creation and owner. NFT-related Information documented on a blockchain cannot be falsified or copied,

Major-General Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi further mentioned.

Major-General Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi later brought to our notice that 22.91 million people from across the globe registered their interest in Dubai Police’s first collection of NFTs.
