Actor Kamal Haasan’s Vikram NFTs will go Public at Cannes Film Festival 2022

NFTs of superstar Kamal Haasan’s upcoming movie, Vikram, are all set to go on the floors on May 18. The launch is scheduled to happen at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival. Announcement about the same has been made by the actor himself on his Twitter handle.

Containing his excitement, the actor said:

I am excited to explore the emerging intersection of the digital and physical world which is now becoming popularly known as metaverse. My life’s journey of over six decades has blurred the distinction between my personal and professional life and will be my offering for this metaverse.

Last month, the announcement was also shared by the production house Raaj Kamal Films International and director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

“Glad to announce the launch of Vikram NFTs and Trailer at Cannes Film festival in association with Vistaverse and Lotus Meta Entertainment,” the Twitter post read.

Haasan has partnered with Vistas Media Capital Company, Fantico, a licensed digital collectibles platform to launch his metaverse journey. A limited edition NFT, the project will enable the audiences to experience unique artworks, posters, private screenings, digital avatars and access to invite-only VistaDome parties.

Fans can interact with the actor through his digital avatar. They can also buy memorabilia and souvenirs related to the actor. Vikram NFTs will also offer access to virtual land sale in Mumbai as well as Chennai in VistaVerse, the very first in-game asset to be launched in India.

Vistaverse, the metaverse and NFT platform for Vikram also took to its Twitter page to post the announcement.

Lotus Meta Entertainment also announced the exciting news through a Twitter post.

Talking about the movie, Vikram is an action thriller film, which will release in theatres on June 3. Besides Kamal Haasan, it features actors Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Faasil in major roles.
