On October 19, 2022, two- and three-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor will introduce TVS Motoverse, a proprietary platform in the Metaverse. The OEM asserts that being the first two-wheeler company in the world with a dedicated metaverse platform, it has made history.
The company said in a press release that TVS Motor will host a variety of events for the Motoverse customers in its first-of-its-kind product launch, including the creation of their Avatars, product experience, and gaming zones, a tech review of the new product, and a music concert with a performance by Armaan Malik.
The OEM also intends to produce further launches and events using the same platform in the future. Any smart device, including a phone, tab, computer, or laptop, can access TVS Motoverse.
With this introduction, TVS Motor has earned the distinction of being the first two-wheeler manufacturer in the world to have a dedicated metaverse platform that enables it to provide customers with cutting-edge experiences.
Notably, four-wheeler OEMs have already disclosed their ambitions for the Metaverse, including Maruti Suzuki, Volvo, Hyundai, and MG Motor. This announcement of a two-wheeler OEM’s admission into the Metaverse, however, is the first of its kind.
The Indian auto industry has been able to optimize and balance the disrupted supply chain thanks to the adoption and integration of the metaverse. Moving forward with technological advancements will also improve the effectiveness of the manufacturing and supply chain processes, among other things.
The metaverse will assist in developing a cooperative social environment for rigorous testing of the vehicle simulations with the appropriate parts and critical designing of those simulations. Automakers will lower the cost of testing as they encourage this environment.
To continuously improve the customer experience in the future, businesses like MG Motor have created their version of the metaverse (MGverse), which will not only allow customers to customize and test out their vehicles but also enable them to constantly explore, innovate, improvise, and develop new solutions.
